No matter what, it says “Payment Denied” Help!
The app Never remembers my login credentials, this is a super simple feature that every other app I have does. Makes me not buy tickets.
Aside from the below average UX it is not possible to capture credit card information because the state is a required field, is supposed to be automatically set when the ZIP code is entered, but since only the city is set when the ZIP is set, and not the state, the form cannot be submitted because it fails client side validation. 🤦♂️
Never had an issue with the app previous to most recent update. I’m actually shocked by the rating I thought app worked great… but this NEW UPDATE, terrible. Looks like we went back to 2 bit gaming system or something. Gross
If you have a complex password, you better memorize it. Because you cannot use a password app to copy and paste your password. Or you’ll have to use your computer to bring up your password on the computer and type it in to your iPhone. Or you could do something you shouldn’t do which is just use a simple password like I did. Awful app.
Someone please fix this dumb app!! The payment options on this app doesn’t work and we can’t buy future tickets. There are numerous issues with this app and trying to call the actual location in Austin is useless!! They are NO HELP!!!
The theatre's are great but the app is awful. First, apple pay never works, second when viewing on an iPad the app does not rotate to landscape making it difficult to navigate the app. News flash iPIC- iPads are mostly in landscape since that is how we type on the keyboards and the cases are designed to stand up the iPad in landscape mode. Third, app signs you out but when you sign back in, the app may or may not accept the login. You may have to type a few times to get the app to respond. For the price of the tickets, food and booze one would assume they can afford to build a better app. Again, theatre great… app not so much!
you have to login every time you open the app. tried to refund a ticket and get error messages. says accepts apple pay but when you try to pay for apple pay it errors. great theatres but horrible app

I’ve been going to IPIC theaters for years and I love the experience.However I hate their mobile app!I have often had issues when paying for my seats-“stored card “doesn’t stay stored or it can’t find a payment stored.The recent change to the app has not improved things.The app now appears strangely-does not seem to fit the screen and you have to almost guess the date you are trying to find to select ticket’s because it only shows the first number of the date-e.g. for the 30th it just shows 3…..Just tried to reload my credit card.I entered all info correctly but would not store card as the state would not populate even though I entered the correct zip.It would not allow me to enter my state either.I eventually looked up the 4 digits that follow the regular zip code.I entered these and IPIC then would finally store my card!!!Also I’m frustrated by being unable to pay by Apple Pay as this shows as an option on the screen but then it says that Apple Pay is not an option……! IPIC NEED TO FIX THIS APP
I don’t go to the movies weekly, but I have noticed that the app frequently signs me out. The displayed user name suggested is not the email address associated with account Since the actual email address associated with the account is long, I copied it from the keychain, but the app would not let me paste it in. So I selected the suggested value, selected it and pasted in the correct value. Then I returned to passwords to copy the password, but the app refreshes the login screen, thereby wiping out the email address that I had just entered. My solution? I pasted the values into a new email, copied the entire string of characters, returned to the app, selected the suggested username, pasted in my copied string of username and password, then selected and cut the password portion of the string, and then pasted it into the password field. This is an awful lot of work. Thank goodness that I do not have to do this for my other apps.
This is one of the most infuriating apps I have ever used!!! Please please just fix it. It logs me out every single time so I have to log back in every time I use it but it won’t work any any keychains so I always have to type in my login in information. Then there is payment where Apple Pay is clearly an option at the bottom but any time I try and use it it tells me Apple Pay isn’t accepted. These issues have persisted for years now and as much as I love going to the IPIC there is zero excuse for this app to be such absolute garbage. And now it appears like there is an identical IPIC app with a different color icon?!?!? So is this one abandoned? What’s with this second app? Someone at IPIC needs to wake up and do their job

I tried multiple times to add my credit card, the apply button doesn’t work at all, and it has problem taking the Apple pay as payment method
I bought tickets using this app without creating an account cause I don’t want to be a member. When you buy tickets and close out the app there is no longer a way to access the digital ticket you just bought when reopening the app. Definitely doesn’t give you confidence to feel secure. I hope they can scan the little bar code in my email address because that’s all I have to go off of. Not even the main website gives you a barcode when looking up your booking smh.
They just stole my money without sending me a ticket. The Apple Pay said unsuccessful due to invalid zip code. When I went to hit the back but my back account showed the payment was successful. Like what the heck.
Worts app ever
This app used to accept all platforms of payment, including Apple Pay and credit cards. But it no longer excepts. I have to call the theater to get tickets are used to work fine I don’t know what happened
It’s frustrating that you can’t add a booking you made outside the app. I have a booking code but there is no way to add the booking to the app.

My friends and I have purchased tickets many times through the app, and have always used Apple Pay for the payment. However now, even though Apple Pay is available as a payment option it displays the message “Apple Pay is not available for ‘IPIC Theaters’”. Not sure why this is happening but since it’s an option in the app, it should be working. Apple Pay is more secure then entering credit card data into multiple sites.
I’ve booked CREED III and Barbie and neither showed up as a booking on my account, and I’m highly disappointed that there’s no option to manually add them.
This app has the potential to steal all your account information including any payment options you use! It is transmitting this data through a third party who then send the data to IPIC, but who knows what they’re doing with that data otherwise. It’s obviously an app that is not created by IPIC.com itself, as if you visit that site on your phone then it suggests for you to download the “IPIC Theaters” app, whereas this scam app is called “IPIC Theatres” ..notice the difference in spelling of Theater vs Theatre Do not trust this app! Join me in reporting the app to Apple to get it removed!
The app doesn’t sync with online reservations unless you do it directly through the app.
Ask me if I want to use Apple Pay and then say Apple Pay doesn’t work with the app??? 🙄
If you’re not ordering at lease $55, I would not order anything, my card was charged $75. Still waiting for my change! My bill was $34.
App gives you the option to use Apple Pay but gives an error when you try to use that pmt method. Also, doesn’t use facial recognition for logging in 🫤.
Love the iPic theater experience, but wish the app experience were anywhere close to enjoyable. It tends to be buggy and obviously not well tested, with updates typically breaking more than they add or fix. The latest update breaks Apple Pay functionality, which is a primary reason for tolerating the app - the purchase process is so streamlined when I don’t have to deal with the poor CC entry UX. Get your act together.
Can’t see your bookings. Can’t cancel reservations. Also the contact u form doesn’t work.

Terrible tech. It can’t accept updates to your account outside of the account area. So I get to payment and it doesn’t accept the payment on file but it won’t let me add a new payment there. I have to LOSE MY SEATS by going out and back in after entering new payment info. Plus it redeemed my free ticket voucher then it cancelled with the seats.

I’ve booked a few times without a problem. Ever since they “updated” their app, it’s been a hassle trying to secure seats with the payment going through.

For one thing a few weeks ago we bought tickets through the app on a Wednesday for a movie on Saturday. I tested positive for covid on Thursday. We canceled our tickets through the app and received a confirmation stating that our cc would receive a refund. Never did…. Just so happens that we tried to use the app again, I put all of our information in including cc information we got an alert from cc company confirming the change. Then I got an alert from IPIC saying the card was declined. Horrible way to do business.
It doesn’t make sense that a person can pull up a reservation with the booking ID on the app. The email confirmation won’t let you add tickets to your wallet. The website and app should be in sync.
IPIC app does not allow you to use Apple Pay (errors out). IPIC app does not allow you to use points and credit card payment simultaneously (errors out). IPIC app states it sends confirmation to phone number provided but confirmation never arrives. IPIC app does not match what appears on IPIC website (website shows less available seats).
Whenever i buy tickets without using the app, even if i use my email and same info it does not sync with the app. Useless. Update 1 year later. Still the same.
